A Milestone For Indian Football

The RFC Football Academy, a world-class residential football training facility, was officially launched on 5th May 2018. The event was graced by eminent personalities from the Indian football community, including Shri Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (Vice Captain – Indian Football Team) and Shri M. P. Swamy (Chairman – Bangalore District Football Association).

They were joined by Shri Preetham Chandra (Managing Director – RFC Football Academy) and Shri Arki Nongrum (Managing Director – Touchline Sports), marking a significant step forward for professional football training in India.

First Pitch Inauguration

RFC Football Academy marked another milestone with the inauguration of its first official pitch and residential dormitory. The ceremony was led by Shri Promod Madhwaraj (Hon. Minister for Youth & Sports – Government of Karnataka), reflecting the growing support for grassroots football development in the state.

The event was also attended by Shri Anupam Agarwal (Director of Youth Empowerment & Sports), alongside Shri Preetham Chandra (Managing Director – RFC Football Academy), underlining the academy’s commitment to nurturing football talent with top-tier infrastructure.

Launch of RFC in 2016

RFC Football Academy was officially launched on 10th February 2016 by Shri N.A. Haris, Member of Legislative Assembly (Shantinagar, Bangalore) and President of the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA).

The event also saw the presence of Shri M.P. Swamy (Chairman – Bangalore District Football Association) and Shri Preetham Chandra (Managing Director – RFC Football Academy), marking the beginning of RFC’s journey to develop young football talent through structured, high-quality training in Karnataka.
